The Oblong snap domes (stainless steel dome) are small, oblong shaped switch contacts that were designed for mounting on single or double sided flex printed circuit boards, flexible printed circuits and membranes, where traces can be fed under the domes on the same side of the board. This type of domes can be used for limited circuit space and miniature circuit-type applications.
